RondaThompson - Jason Donovan is seeking answers to the curse that has plagued him for three years. SusanE - WHITE DUSK is the story of Swift-Foot and Small Bird. Though Swift-Foot loves another, he is forced to marry Small Bird. But just because he gave up the woman he loves to fullfill his duty doesn't mean he has to be happy about it.
kitkat - And in deference to Ronda's newer foray into Paranormal, yes the paranormal element is perfect, very comparable with our own Amanda Ashley or miss Feehan
SusanE - Small Bird believes with all her heart that she and Swift-Foot belong together. Events in their past prove it and she must find a way to prove to him that together, they can defeat a powerful enemy.

JoannaW - This is a question for Patti (okay, two questions...) -- I've heard a number of people talk about the violence in your book, Ravyn's Flight. I read it last night, and thought it was very appropriate, and did a great job of showing the true horror of her situation... What I'm wondering is how difficult it was for you to write those scenes? How did you put yourself in that position, and did you eventually have nightmares? I know there were a few minutes last night when I DIDN'T want to turn off the lights in the house....Of course, I'm kinda a chicken, LOL! Also - where do you see the futuristic genre going? You're book was a strong romance, but it also had great science fiction elements. What authors do you like to read, and who has influenced your decision to wrtie futuristics?

Patti O'Shea - As for where the futuristic subgenre is going, I think it's going to expand. It's been forgotten for too many years. My favorite futuristic authors, well, there are a lot. Justine Davis and her Skypirate, Susan Grant, Catherine Spangler, Jayne Ann Krentz. I love them all!

SusanE - Readers wanting more and more white books <g>. Actually, I found I needed to know more of my original heroine's (Sarah/White Wind) parents so i decided to go back and do prequels.

RondaThompson - Lea, for me it was the novella I did called Midnight Serenade in the After Twilight anthology. I loved doing a paranormal romance, and I knew there was more story there than I had the wordcount to do. Once fans started asking for the brother's story, I couldn't wait to get started on Call Of The Moon.
Patti O'Shea - Lea, for me it was curiosity. I saw this clock blinking 12:00 in my mind's eye and I had to know what had happened! So I kept looking around and asking questions until I got the start of the story and Ravyn's Flight just went from there.

JenniferAshley - Lea: I'm not certain where Perils came from. Most ideas just spring at me at odd times. My hero was originally going to be the man who turned out to be a secondary character (the handsome, one-eyed Englishman). Then Evangeline walked into Austin Blackwell's cabin, and he decided he would be the hero!! And the story just wrote itself after that. My next romance (which features a gorgeous pirate), came to me while I was looking out the window and the cat was pestering me. I wish I could bottle those moments.
BonnieVanak - Lea, mine was inspired by a National Geographic article on Akhenaten, the so-called heretic pharaoh, and his second wife, Kiya, who mysteriously vanished. I based the Legend part of Falcon on Akhenaten and Kiya.

JenniferAshley - Theresa: I just accepted to do a mystery series (historical, set in 1816). The main character is a cavalry captain who is to die for, let me tell you. I don't have details as to pub. date yet, but I'm going to write three of them.
Patti O'Shea - Theresa, my WIP is another futuristic. A real loose description would be Conan the Barbarian marries Princess Grace. But they have to work together and come to understand and appreciate the other for who they are.
