unsinkable - Gregori held out as long as he could. For a thousand years or so he has waited for a lifemate. He became so desperate for salvation, that he tampered with nature to insure the safety of the world. He knew that if he should turn, he would rip the world apart. Once Savannah was in his lair, he could not control the beast. It was the perfect scene for him because he DID start to turn but Savannah's love brought him back.
