MadelineHunter - Yep, it is, Julia. But I have found that outlining doesn't make it any easier for me, and tends to hem me in too much. I have the spine of the story in my head, and know where I am going, but I rely pretty heavily on the muse. I think that I am afraid that if I outline in detail, the writing will seem too much like WORK, lol, and just filling in the blanks It is all mental, of course. I know you and others do it that way and come up with great stories.

Shadow of a Doubt is now available at LTDBooks, and A Question of Fire will be released in September. Just recently ImaJinn has offered me a contract for Witch's Journey. Release date is tentatively fall, 2002.

I'm easing my editor into letting me just hand her some early chapters and a paragraph or two indicating how it will end. Don't know if she will go for it. She is more accustomed to writers who do it your way
