Peachez - Hey Latesha I didn't see you
Ann Major - Title?SHAMELESS by ANN MAJOR? Sometimes who we turn to when the chips are down tells us who we really. Celeste Cavanaugh thinks she wants to be a country western star. But when that world comes crashing down, she runs ?home? to Texas to the proud, ex-Marine, she jilted

Sara-Moderator - it is the BIG smiling face (think sorta wicked)
Lydia F - Hi
Leanne Banks - Hi Lydia.
Kristi Gold - Marooned With a Millionaire is basically The Wizard of Oz meets The Love Boat during The Perfect Storm. He's a hotel magnate who wants to be left alone. She's a blond pregnant optimist who disables his yacht with her hot air balloon, thus the marooned part.
syna - Maureen when so you have another batallion out??
Latesha - Hi Lydia!
MaureenC - oh yeah..........
Sara-Moderator - hi, Lydia, Welcome to our Silhouette Desire chat! We're talking with Leanne Banks, Ann Major, Julianne MacLean, Kristi Gold and Linda Conrad tonight about their June releases. If you have questions for any of our authors, just type ? and I'll call on you in turn.

Lydia F - HI Latesha
Sara-Moderator - Leanne, you're up
Julianne MacLean - Wow Ann! - I don't think I could spell when I was two!

syna - wow, that should be a good book to read..
Marilyn_in_AL - Morgan has timed out.
Leanne Banks - Oh, me. Princess In His Bed is the story of a princess who escapes her overprotective mother to search for her missing brother -- and she ends up working for a rancher in Wymoning!
Latesha - Excellent book, Leannne.
Julianne MacLean - Great title, Leanne! Sounds like a fun book!
Lydia F - That sounds like fun Leanne
Marilyn_in_AL - Wymoning? Or is that how she sounds after a night with the rancher?
Sara-Moderator - A princess in Wyoming? why not!
syna - Leanne, can't wait till I readthat

Leanne Banks - Marilyn ROFL!
Linda Conrad - Abby Gentry is the baby sister to the Gentry brothers. She's never wanted to risk losing her heart to anyone. But when she rescues her old crush Gray Wolf Parker from certain death, she gets swept away by flames of desire. Sexy Comanche Gray will do anything to repay Abby for saving his life, even if it means masquerading as her fiancé. But to win this woman, his heart will have to battle with his traditions – and the ancient spirits of his vision quest.
Leanne Banks - in Wyoming! but she moans some too.
Sara-Moderator - ah, good, moaning in Wymoaning
Julianne MacLean - Sounds great, Linda!
Sara-Moderator - sorry, I'll be good tonight
syna - sounds interesting
Peachez - another moaner. LOL
Marilyn_in_AL - I'm halfway through Abby's book (made a trip to Walmart this morning) and Gray is to die for
Leanne Banks - woooooo, Linda this sounds wonderfully intense!
Latesha - Too many good books out this month. Won't know where to start once I get them.
Mary f - Why change Sara?
Sara-Moderator - The Gentrys are a very interesting (and sexy) family
syna - yes it soes
Sara-Moderator - Maureen, you're up
Peachez - I love Native American men
Linda Conrad - Thanks Julianne and Sara
syna - I got the same impression
ericrobert - logged on. - from 67.235.36.179 on 6/10 at 8:32pm EST
MaureenC - Beauty and the Blue Angel...On the night Daisy Cusak goes into labor, she finds her Prince Charming! Navy pilot Alex Barone is swept away by the Daisy and then by her tiny daughter and before he knows it, his days of flying solo are over!

Ann Major - I can't wait to read all these books!
Marilyn_in_AL - Daisy and Alex -- sigh. Love conquers all
Sara-Moderator - ah, I love pilot stories (said with a straight face after a marathon of WWII movies with dh over the weekend)
Peachez - Yes I have really enjoyed the books that Sheri has written
syna - she writes alot about Native American mn.
Ann Major - Love does conquer a lot!
MaureenC - Nothing like a good ending!
bearcat - - from 67.74.244.117 on 6/10 at 8:34pm EST
Julianne MacLean - Maureen - are you going to keep writing more Navy books? Navy heroes are hunky.
Peachez - I bet the summer won't be long enough to finish all these great reads
gapeaches - ? to all
Sara-Moderator - okay, we've had the intros so now we know what's out there. Now is the time for the when we get to get the TRUE nitty gritty on these fab books
Sara-Moderator - Peachez has the first question (Marilyn in line)
Peachez - I guess all girls love a guy in uniform
MaureenC - Gotta love the military, Julianne! Are you enjoying having your first Desire out?
Linda Conrad - One of my favorites, syna. And she loves ABBY
syna - i do
Sara-Moderator - so if you have questions for these lovely ladies, then raise your ? now
ericrobert - What about Marine Hero's ??
Mary f - ?
Julianne MacLean - It hasn't hit stores yet up here in Canada. Is that normal?
Peachez - Kristi why a hot air balloon? You been having fantasies again.
O - All authors what qualities does your hero have that make us fall in love with him
MaureenC - ericrobert, my favorites are the Marines!
Sara-Moderator - O, you'd raise your hand
Linda Conrad - Hooray for Maureen's Seals!!!
ericrobert - Mine too...
Sara-Moderator - you didn't I mean
O - sorry doing two chats
MaureenC - Thanks LINDA!
Kristi Gold - LOL! I was inspired by a hot air balloon race that went over my house!
syna - I'd think it would be fun to crash land in a hot air baloon
Ann Major - Phillip Westin, my hero in SHAMELESS is an ex-Marine who is passionate, tough, and yet very tender.
O -
Leanne Banks - ericrobert, ericrobert, ericrobert, ericrobert, ericrobert,
ericrobert - I wonder if anyone is going to do some military romances ?
Sara-Moderator - Eric, do you want to be put in the queue? We're on protocol tonight
Julianne MacLean - My hero was orphaned when he was a toddler. His parents died in a car accident, and he survived. You just can't help rooting for him.
Peachez - I guess the heroine would be considered the winner of that race
ericrobert - Sorry...
Sara-Moderator - Marilyn has the next question (Mary F, O in line)
Ann Major - I like a hero to be absolutely centered on the heroine.
gapeaches - ?
Kristi Gold - Well, Jack Dunlap in MWAM is somewhat tortured and stoic, but Lizzie brings out the best in him.
Marilyn_in_AL - For all the authors: Of all the publishers in the marketplace today, why do you write for Desire? What compels you to be a Desirable?
MaureenC - I like a man with a sense of humor!
Peachez - I bet she does.
Leanne Banks - Oops, my hero in PRINCESS is passionate, intelligent and intuitive.
syna - I do too
Julianne MacLean - Desire books are emotional, and have lots of characterization. That's why I like them.
Kristi Gold - I like the emotional elements combined with the sensual. I think Desire just suits my style and voice. I love writing them.
Linda Conrad - Gray Parker is honorable to a fault, and stoic and sexy!! Mostly sexy.
MaureenC - I love the whole premise of Desire--The story is focused on the hero and heroine and on their growing relationships.
Leanne Banks - I'm with you Ann
syna - I've read desire for 11 years now..
Julianne MacLean - Wow - 11 years!! You got me beat!
Leanne Banks - I write Desire because I love that they're both passionate and emotional.
Leanne Banks - Desires keep the heart pounding.
syna - I just finished your historical book that came our Julianne.
Peachez - Syna you are a professional Desire reader
syna - very good.
Linda Conrad - I love the emotion and conflict in Desire - and the 'good parts'
Sara-Moderator - Mary F has the next question (O, gapeaches in line)
Lydia F - I have been reading Desire sic
Marilyn_in_AL - I could read at least one Desire a day if my dh would ease up on petty little things like food and clean clothes and stuff like that
Mary f - for all: Is there any plot line you won't cover?
syna - I never thought about it that way.thank you
Julianne MacLean - Peachez - I hope you liked it!
Lydia F - Desires since I was in High School and that is 17years.
Marilyn_in_AL - good parts LOL
Sara-Moderator - ha, I was reading Desires when they were published by Simon and Schuster (ooh, does that age me?)
Leanne Banks - LOL Marilyn!
ericrobert - - from 67.235.36.179 on 6/10 at 8:40pm EST
Lydia F - Tell John to go play volley ball.
syna - sorry about my typing, I just took my meds for Epilepsy..
Ann Major - The first DESIRE I wrote had number 16 on its spine. I don't even want to know how long ago that was.
Peachez - Sure did
Leanne Banks - Mary F, I would prefer not to write anything depressing.
Marilyn_in_AL - LOL Lydia. He IS playing volleyball tonight
Lydia F - I know.
MaureenC - Mary-- I don't want to write rape books or books with children in danger--
Leanne Banks - Ann is a QUEEN of DESIRE
syna - sure did.. I'll be almost 40 in 2 weeks.
Peachez - You're llike me Marilyn if I had the time to I'd love to read 1 a day. It is better than watching a movie
Ann Major - There are many queens in our queendom! THe more the merrier!
Julianne MacLean - I'm with you, Maureen - children in danger is not a fun reading experience!
syna - I read 1 a day of desires.
Peachez - Marilyn didn't even have to cook. Lucky you.
Leanne Banks - I agree Peachez.
MaureenC - Oh, syna....think I love you!
MaureenC - Just creeps me out, Julianne
Sara-Moderator - did everyone see Mary's question? What plot will you NOT write?
Leanne Banks - Me too, Me too, Maureen!
syna - i'm with you about children in danger about rape, sadly I've been there when I was a child
Peachez - I not crazy about anything involving kidnapping it hits to close to home. I'm a mother
syna - any time
Kristi Gold - Mary, I can't think of anything off hand. I've done the deaf culture to domestic violence to hot air balloons. I seem to be in the sheikh mode right now, although I have no idea how that happened.
Leanne Banks - I answered. I don't want to write anything depressing.
Sara-Moderator - did all the authors get to answer it?
Mary f -
MaureenC - Syna, I'm so sorry.......
Linda Conrad - Rape is definitely out for me! i want kick ass heroines
Marilyn_in_AL - mmmmmmmm sheikhs
syna - my sister was killed on my birthday 6 years ago.
Sara-Moderator - Linda Conrad?
Latesha - But you do it all so well, Kristi.
Sara-Moderator - okay, just checking
MaureenC - definitely want heroines who make the hero nervous!
Mary f - Great answers everyone thanks
Peachez - Kristi is the supreme Sheikhess. All hail
Sara-Moderator - and all good things NOT to write about (or read about)
Linda Conrad - Yes Sara
MaureenC - Oh God..............Syna.
Leanne Banks - Oh, no syna, I'm so sorry.
syna - i do to.. what turns me way off is whimpy women..
Kristi Gold - Good answer, Maureen!
Leanne Banks - Go Kristi!
Sara-Moderator - O has the next question (gapeaches in line)
Kristi Gold - Syna, that is awful. Bless you.
MaureenC - Thanks--I like a smart ass hereoine...Gee. Wonder why?
syna - thanks for all your kind words... they help...
Ann Major - I am more into what I want to write--and that is hard. I seem to write a lot of reunited lovers stories. I love bodyguard stories.
syna - sheiks, kristi any more??
Peachez - LOL, Maureen
O - What book did you read that made you want to write in the first place -all authors
Marilyn_in_AL - Kristi writes sexy doctors too
MaureenC - That's easy.............The Wolf and the Dove
Julianne MacLean - Lavyrle Spencer
Kristi Gold - Four more coming up, syna. Although I have no idea how that happened, either.
Linda Conrad - Too many to count!
Leanne Banks - Books by Nora Roberts, Ann Major, Linda Howard, Dixie Browning...
Kristi Gold - Texas: Chase, Sandra Brown.
syna - I've met Laveryl spencer in 1991 at a tea party..
Peachez - Yes, i'm still looking for a real sexy doctor
Ann Major - It wasn't a book. It was a girlfriend that made me want to write. I had this wild fascinating girlfriend in my youth, and I always thought she'd make a great character for a book. I have never written about her--yet.
Leanne Banks - Books by Sandra Brown...
syna - thanks Kristi.
Linda Conrad - Come clean, Kristi. You have a real reason to write doctors
MaureenC - Peachez...I hear Kristi's got one of those!
Kristi Gold - Before that I read Stephen King and Robin Cook.
Marilyn_in_AL - I adore Dixie -- she's such a sweetheart and her books are so wonderful
gapeaches - yea kristi has some very sexy dr
Peachez - Leanne we like the same authors
syna - yes, I even met her daughter in Alaska and her husband.
Ann Major - I am married to a sexy doctor. I have never written about that--yet.
Leanne Banks - I'm not surprised Gigi!
Kristi Gold - I love Lavyrle, too!
Marilyn_in_AL - I read Stephen King too till THE SHINING kept me awake and scared to death one night while my husband was out of town
Julianne MacLean - I'm married to a sexy doctor, too, What's up with that!
Sara-Moderator - ooh, Ann, a sexy doc of your own!
MaureenC - Too True!
Kristi Gold - What have I got??? I missed it!
Leanne Banks - Ann, what kind of doctor is your husband?
Leanne Banks - Okay, what kind of doctors are you guys married to?
MaureenC - Where did you guys find all these sexy doctors??
Marilyn_in_AL - oh gosh -- 3 of you with sexy doctor husbands
Peachez - I guess they just inspire y'all to write sexy stories Julianne
Kristi Gold - Oh, yes Ann and I have personal physicians. Mine unloads the dishwasher on occasion.
Ann Major - My doctor is a general practitioner.
MaureenC - You've got the sexy doctor, Kristi!
Julianne MacLean - Mine's a GP too
Leanne Banks - Marilyn, I'm such a wuss I couldn't read Goosebumps at night let alone Stephen Kind!
O - Does he do house calls Ann
Marilyn_in_AL - don't forget Kristi -- he treats the pool for algae too
Julianne MacLean - (At least I think he's sexy
Kristi Gold - Mine is a cowboy neurosurgeon (retired doctor). Yes, his book (hopefully) is coming up.
syna - My husband drives engineers of union pacific railroad from place to place
Peachez - I don't like anything scary. Nightmares. I don't even watch scary movies
Kristi Gold - Julianne, you have a doctor, too???
Mary f - Leanne I'm in the same boat and still can't read them
Kristi Gold - Eve Gaddy is married to one as well. Very interesting....
MaureenC - I love scary books. Ghost stories. Barbara Michaels!!!
syna - i don't watch scary movies and I was nevr into steven king.
Julianne MacLean - Yeah, Kristi - you're my alter ego!! I LOVE your doctor books.
Peachez - Ann you got a good one.
Leanne Banks - Mary F and Peaches, I can't watch scary movies either.
MaureenC - movies no...books yes...
Sara-Moderator - so, obviously something about being married to a "sexy" doctor lets you or drives you to write Desires -- interesting!
Kristi Gold - LOL, Julianne. I love putting them in predicaments. Must be Freudian or something... but that bedside manner.
Ann Major - I can read Barbara Michaels, but real horror is too much for me. ONce I thought about writing it, and little demons starting coming out from under my lampshade. That is a creative chamber in my mind I don't want to open again.
Peachez - I'm not crazy about intense mysteries either
Sara-Moderator - gapeaches has the next question (Sara in line)
Lydia F - I can't watch scary movies either.
Linda Conrad - right Maureen -- I can always put down the book!
Peachez - My DH knows to watch scary movies on the other TV
MaureenC - Stephen King, No....Barbara, ah yes..
Kristi Gold - I could never write one, but Stephen King is a great storyteller. Delyn has timed out.
Mary f - I tried once and left in the opening credits!
MaureenC - Or close the book. Or shove it in the freezer!!
Marilyn_in_AL - ,makes note to marry doctor in next life so as to be a Desirable>
Ann Major - I think Stephen King is a great writer.
Kristi Gold - Oh, and thanks, Julianne!
gapeaches - what was everyone favorit book to write
syna - with the child hood I had, I saw it first hand no scary movies
Ann Major - Oh, and I love STephen King' book on writing.
Peachez - I don't blame you Ann. Once you get your mind on something disturbing it is hard to turn it off
Kristi Gold - If the algae doesn't clear up, you can have mine.
Leanne Banks - Hey Marilyn, I'm not married to a doctor and I'm a Desirable!
Mary f - LMAO Marilyn
Peachez - I'm with you Marilyn
MaureenC - Right there with you, Leanne!
Ann Major - I guess my favorite book to write was THE ACCIDENTAL BRIDEGROOM.
Sara-Moderator - there you go, Marilyn! a good note to make -- until then you and I will have to settle for our current sexy guys and just read lots of Desires!
Peachez - What are you married to Leanne
GlenArden - Would all of you hate me if I said I have all of King's books..ist edition, signed..except for The Shining?
Linda Conrad - Me too <sniff>
syna - that was soo good Ann.
Kristi Gold - Peaches, I guess my March book was my very favorite because of the hero, Rio Madrid. But I've had a great time writing all of them for different reasons.
Julianne MacLean - Wow - Glen - that's amazing!
Marilyn_in_AL - my sexy guy is bugging me to let him get a tattoo
Leanne Banks - I can name two recent books that I loved writing are ROYAL DAD and PRINCESS IN HIS BED. I love my opening line for Princess - This wig was going to change her life.

Peachez - HE is M!!! are you going to let him?
Kristi Gold - Glen, that is wonderful!!!
Marilyn_in_AL - Glen... I live in Alabama. Howdy neighbor!

Ann Major - I like the idea of being marooned with a Marine.
Lydia F - GlenArden my mother-in-law would hate you . She love King.
Peachez - I wouldn't want to see me at 80 with a saggy tattoo
syna - is Steve Sandaliss still on the covers??
Kristi Gold - LOL, Leanne! Great line.
GlenArden - howdy!
Leanne Banks - I have temporary tattoos for my Warner single title!
Marilyn_in_AL - Is Ole Miss where John Grisham taught/teaches?

Leanne Banks - I actually have a wall of fame on my website for people who have on my tattos.
Peachez - Very good job and I know a difficult one. Keeps up all in power

Kristi Gold - I want to be on the Wall AND marooned with a Marine if the pool doesn't clear up.
MaureenC - Gotta run--Bye, guys!
Sara-Moderator - Sara has the next question
Leanne Banks - You can send a SASE to the writerspace address and get one.
Latesha - Night Maureen.
Marilyn_in_AL - bye Maureen
Ann Major - No, I would like one of your temporary tattoos.
Lydia F - Bye Marureen
Sara-Moderator - bye, Maureen, thanks for coming!
Julianne MacLean - Bye Maureen!
Sara-Moderator -
GlenArden - Yes Marilyn. John lived in Oxford for many years. He comes to TUpelo (Reed's bookstore) and has signings for every book. He's a sweetie! And those eyes...MELT!
Peachez - I missed something with Ann
Kristi Gold - Bye, Maureen!
Leanne Banks - Thanks Julianne!
Leanne Banks - By Maureen!
HeatherL - Night Maureen!
Peachez - Bye Maureesn
Linda Conrad - Bye Maureen
Kristi Gold - Me, too, Gigi.
Mary f - Night Maureen
syna - night Maureen
Leanne Banks - Ann, I was just playing. You are very much a wonderful lady.
Sara-Moderator - For all the authors -- what quality or characteristic do you wish you could have given either your hero or heroine, but didn't. And why not?
Julianne MacLean - Leanne - they have a pretty small selection, so I was impressed!
Marilyn_in_AL - I just found out Homer Hickam of ROCKET BOYS fame is practically my neighbor. He and I have been emailing today and I'm getting an ARC of his upcoming book -- something new for him. It's a WWII romance
Peachez - Well it figures we'd be the only 2 lost
Ann Major - Bye, Maureen!
Peachez - Marilyn you live near everybody!!
Leanne Banks - Thanks for telling me Julianne!
Kristi Gold - Wow, Sara. Let me think on that one. Hmmmm....
Marilyn_in_AL - no I don't. You're a long way off
GlenArden - Small world isn't it Marilyn?
in10se - logged on. - from 67.34.44.224 on 6/10 at 8:59pm EST
Marilyn_in_AL - very small actually
Kristi Gold - Is that current books, Sara? Or any we've written?
Peachez - LOL
Sara-Moderator - in10se, Welcome to our Silhouette Desire chat! We're talking with Leanne Banks, Ann Major, Julianne MacLean, Kristi Gold, Maureen Child, and Linda Conrad tonight about their June releases. If you have questions for any of our authors, just type ? and I'll call on you in turn.
Leanne Banks - Wow, Sara... I just started drinking a hard lemonade and ....
syna - are any of you going to be in Oregon??
O -
Sara-Moderator - in the current books (and others if you have a nagging one you'd like to tell us about )
GlenArden - like your name in TN
Julianne MacLean - Good question, Sara - but it's a tough one, because we have time to change stuff or add stuff as we're writing, so for me, anyway, I usually give them everything I can think of
Leanne Banks - I usually start out with my characters missing a quality and then they grow and develop it by the end of the book...
GlenArden - what IS a hard lemonade?
Linda Conrad - Sara, my characters always have exactly the traits I want them to have (or that they insist on)
Marilyn_in_AL - Jack Daniels lemonade?
Julianne MacLean - Hey, Leanne! A cyber cheers to you/! I'm having a glass of red wine. (Trying not to slur)
Sara-Moderator - hmm, all these agreeable characters, are they?
Kristi Gold - I can't think of anything in particular with Jack other than he could've used a sunnier attitude, but he gets one eventually. That's just his character make-up. I wanted to give the hero in my second book long hair, but that didn't fly so I had to cut it.
syna - oh thats good lemonaide
Sara-Moderator - is it a Mikes, Leanne?
Leanne Banks - Hard lemonade has (yikes) alcohol in it. I had my yearly gyn visit AND my mammogram AND my daughter's graduating on Friday, so I'm DUE!
Peachez - Well i thought the characters inSome Girls Do were very complete full of qualities
Kristi Gold - Good answer, Leanne!
Leanne Banks - Yes, it is Sara.
Sara-Moderator - ah, poor guy, Kristi, he'd have loved long hair
Kristi Gold - On the hero, and the lemonade! Where's mine???
syna - yes they were that is why I liked some girls go,
Mac - That's the ONLY alcohol I can handle.
Sara-Moderator - ah, I'm partial to the hard cranberry lemonaide my self
Peachez - Oh leanne you need chocolate too. i need to send you M&Ms
Marilyn_in_AL - that's a lot at once Leanne. Have another hard one
Linda Conrad - I have't done a hero with an erring yet. But I will
Ann Major - Sara, that is a very good question. Phillip starts off more inflexible than he ends up in the story. He ends by making room in his life to accept the heroine and her dreams. My heroine has to learn life isn't always either/or; sometimes you have to learn how to juggle things a bit--then you can have your man and your dreams.
Leanne Banks - Yes, Julianne, red wine is supposed to be healthy for you... I need to get a more sophisticated taste for wine.
Kristi Gold - My daughter graduated last Friday, Leanne. <sniff>
Marilyn_in_AL - lemonade that is
Peachez - that sounds good Sara. i love cranberry
Julianne MacLean - You deserve a little relaxation, Leanne! I recently had a gyn appt and a dentist appointment in the same day. Talk about bodily intrusions!
Leanne Banks - LOL Marilyn!
O - for everybody
syna - congradulations
syna - congradulations
syna - congradulations
GlenArden - maybe the hero should have a nipple ring
Sara-Moderator - ah, Ann, that sounds good. I do like characters that stretch
syna - yummy!!
Linda Conrad - Thanks, O
Peachez - thanks O we needed that
Marilyn_in_AL - ouch Glen
Sara-Moderator - O has the next question
Leanne Banks - Aw Kristi, congratulations!
syna - I never turn down chocolate.
Leanne Banks - Ann I like that answer!
Peachez - congratulations Leanne and Kristi one leg of the trip is over for you. The next one starts soon ,college
O - All authors what was the hardest part of your book to write?
Leanne Banks - O, thanks so much for the chocolate!
Marilyn_in_AL - although, given the way the Desire authors have been pushing the envelope, a nipple ring wouldn't surprise me
Latesha - Congratulations to you and your daughters, Kristi and Leanne!
Kristi Gold - Thanks for the chocolate, O! Where's the guy you had up earlier, the cute flasher??
Marilyn_in_AL -
Marilyn_in_AL - him?
Kristi Gold - Thanks, everyone!
Kristi Gold - That's him!
O - for Kisti
Julianne MacLean - Great question, O! Hardest part - the beginning, because it was my first time with a contemporary.
Peachez - piercings, I'm not crazy about.
syna - lol
Leanne Banks - LOL Marilyn!
Leanne Banks - Hopefully the hardest part is the hero.
Peachez - WOW marilyn
Leanne Banks - Joking joking joking
Linda Conrad - It turned out great, Julianne!
syna - I have the Seattle firefighters calender up on my wall.
Julianne MacLean - LOL Leanne! My kind of book....
Marilyn_in_AL - LEANNE!
O - Leanne
syna - my husband thinks it;s great.
Julianne MacLean - Thanks Linda!
GlenArden - I saw a woman who looked 50 something today and her tongue was DOUBLE pierced! Yuck!
Linda Conrad - LOL Leanne
Peachez - LOL leanne. you are way to funny
O - What did you write before Julianne
Mary f - I liked that answer Leanne
Lydia F - Has she been around Diana to much?
Sara-Moderator - Leanne, Leanne, Leanne! of course he has to be "hard" *sigh*
Kristi Gold - O, it was the technical part of having a hot air balloon hit the mast of the sailboat and disabling it. I had help from my agent who's an avid sailor along with her husband. They saved me on this one.
Ann Major - SHAMELESS is the first novel in a trilogy. So, the characters and plot were given to me. I worked very closely with Sheri Whitefeather and Kathy DeNosky, the other authors. The hardest part was writing a book that is part of the LONESTAR COUNTRY CLUB series and not having read ever single book that went before. Sheri and I must have written each other 60 emails.
Cissy - Ack, GlenArden!
Marilyn_in_AL -
Leanne Banks - Hardest part is the first 100 pages -- I'm never totally sure I'm going to finish until I've written 100 pages.... even though I've written 35 freakin' books. MaureenC has timed out.
Julianne MacLean - Three Harlequin Historicals, and now I'm at Avon with historicals
syna - piercing the tounge yuck..
Peachez - Glen i would be afraid I'd ruin my crowns with something like that
Leanne Banks - Thanks Mary f.
GlenArden - lol. me too Peachez.
Peachez - i know Diana could corupt a nun. LOL
Leanne Banks - Julianne, I'm so impressed that you can do both historicals AND contemporaries!
Marilyn_in_AL - LOL Gigi!
Julianne MacLean - Variety is the spice of life!
O -
syna - i bet it would be hard to do both contemperaries and historicals.
Leanne Banks - Piercing the tongue... I don't want to lisp!
Kristi Gold - Me, too, Julianne. I could only write historical set in Texas considering my somewhat 'heavy' drawl.
Kristi Gold - And that's really iffy.
Julianne MacLean - I usually stick with one at a time until it's done, so I stay in the bubble.
Peachez - I always tell my daughter to read to page 100 and if she can't get into a story then put it down
Leanne Banks - ?
Leanne Banks - that sounds smart Julianne
Kristi Gold - I draw the line at pierced ears, although my daughter did briefly have an eyebrow ring.
Julianne MacLean - Peaches - I usually quit around pg 100, too, if it's not working for me.
Sara-Moderator - O has the next question (Leanne in line) the queue is closed
Peachez - Kristi we don't have an accent it 's the other people that don't live in the south.LOL
syna - I agree with you Kristi.
O - All authors what do you want to write that you han't before
Leanne Banks - Love that Peachez.
Mary f - Sara I have a Q for you before you go
Kristi Gold - After another chat earlier today, I would really like to write a virgin hero.
Marilyn_in_AL - I had a in there before O
Julianne MacLean - Good question, O - more Desires!! Every book is so new.
Linda Conrad - Paranormals, O Gotta love those ghosties
Peachez - You cold make him a sacrifice for love Kristi LOL
Sara-Moderator - you did Marilyn, I didn't see it. I'll add it back
Marilyn_in_AL - way to go Kristi. I'll be first in line to read it
Leanne Banks - I LOVE LOVE LOVE writing romance, but I might would like to write a women's fiction that focuses almost exclusively on the women.
syna - you haven't before>
Kristi Gold - Or locked in a closet for a long time
GlenArden - I'd like to read about a virgin hero!
Peachez - I want to be 2nd
Linda Conrad - Susan Crosby did a Desire with a virgin hero once. It was great!
O - It has been done Kristi
Julianne MacLean - Virgin hero! Can he be one of your great doctors?
Kristi Gold - How long ago, Linda? Title??
Sara-Moderator - Marilyn has the next question (Leanne in line) queue closed
kannj - logged on - from 24.74.117.54 on 6/10 at 9:12pm EST
Leanne Banks - Is it my turn? I have two questions.
Cissy - almost, Leanne!
Leanne Banks - Okay, well remember we're holding a drawing!
Marilyn_in_AL - For all the authors: Do your spouses/parents/children/siblings read your books? If not, why? If so, how do they respond to the "good parts" as Linda called them?
Kristi Gold - I've seen them before, O, but I've never attempted one. A virgin doctor... hmmmm....
Peachez - poor Sara. hgard keeping these girls in line
Latesha - Cait Lodon did a virgin hero with Gabriel's Gift about 2, 3 years ago.
Mary f - Hello Kannj!
Marilyn_in_AL - Hi Kelly
Linda Conrad - 1998, Kristi His Most Scandalous Secret
kannj - Hi everyone sorry so late
Leanne Banks - Hi Cissy. XO
syna - hello
Peachez - Hi Kelly
Marilyn_in_AL - A virgin doctor would work -- he didn't have time with his hectic medical school schedule
Leanne Banks - Hi Kannj!
Lydia F - Hi Kelly
Kristi Gold - My husband, no. My children, no, except my oldest who read my third and loved the story, complained about all 'the sex.' My sister has read my books, bless her heart. But she's a writer, too.
Peachez - it's me Gigi
Cissy - Hi Leanne
Julianne MacLean - A virgin doctor would at least have a clue about the anatomy!
Leanne Banks - Marilyn, you should be a WRITER!(hint, hint!)
Kristi Gold - I have Gabriel's Gift in my massive TBR pile.
GlenArden - drawing?!! Glenda's ears perk up!
Peachez - probably grossed her out to think her mom wrote stuff like that
O - would he have to bring his medical book with him
Kristi Gold - Thanks, Linda.
Linda Conrad - My husband loves the 'good parts' My daughter won't read them
Julianne MacLean - My family members have never mentioned the sex. Talk about it??? Are you kidding?? (I have a very lovely, proper mother.)
syna - drawing??
Mary f - Mine woke up with that too
Peachez - We have been telling her and telling her Leanne
kannj - I agree with you Leanne...we're trying to talk her into just sitting down and writing.
Kristi Gold - Keep tossing those hints to Marilyn, Leanne. She's getting it in stereo.
Marilyn_in_AL - If I ever get this GMC stuff figured out maybe I will be, Leanne
Lydia F - Yea Marilyn won't listen to her family.
Ann Major - My pseudonym, ANN MAJOR, is my mother's real name.
Sara-Moderator - Leanne has the last question (and we're going to be giving away some books from Linda Conrad, so get ready!)
Peachez - surround sound LOL
Kristi Gold - My mother reads all my books. She's the one who said, If you're too old to do it, you might as well read about it.
Leanne Banks - From me too, Sara!
Sara-Moderator - so, Ann, does she read "her" work?
O - So what is your real Name Ann
GlenArden - I'm ready Sara...like a dog waitin' on the mailman!
Marilyn_in_AL - I'm having too much fun reading
Leanne Banks - I love that Ann (Peggy!)
Julianne MacLean - Funny, Kristi!
Linda Conrad - LOL Kristi
Peachez - I thinkI'd love your mom , Kristi
syna - I'm listening.
Latesha - Kristi, your mother is too funny!
Sara-Moderator - sorry, Leanne, Cissy didn't tell me, but never fear, we can do it!
Cissy - great, Leanne - how many do you want to give away?
Sara-Moderator - I was late from yoga tonight, so a bit out of it
Leanne Banks - My question to the authors is, what do you love about your current book?
GlenArden - my mother's roomate in the nursing home reads romance and she's 77..spicy ones too!
Cissy - we can always give away books!
Linda Conrad - Easy. The sexy hero
Peachez - grood? leanne
Marilyn_in_AL - got stuck in that lotus position, did ya?
Leanne Banks - Cissy, I told the chat person I was giving a book away.
Julianne MacLean - Leanne - I love the skinny dipping scene.
Peachez - I buy the ones from the library to give to little old ladies
Sara-Moderator - no, downward dog, but let's not go there
Cissy - I'm sorry, Leanne - it somehow missed getting to me. But we'll take care of it!
Leanne Banks - Julianne, you have skinny dipping!
syna - what a lovely idea..
O - Hey Peachez i am a old lady
Cissy - oh, downward dog is evil
Leanne Banks - What about you Ann?
Kristi Gold - Leanne, you have to answer, too. I would have to say the very definite differences in my h/h, and how they really turn out complementing each other. I would have to say she's my favorite heroine to date, very Dharma.
GlenArden - good for you Peaches..I'm popular at the nursing home because I bring books.
syna - whatskinny dipping??
Marilyn_in_AL - I think those of us with AARP memberships should get an additional discount from Harl/Sil Celeste has timed out.
Peachez - You can get 6 for a dollar and some of them are brand new. We have folks that turn them in for a tax write off
Leanne Banks - So she's very colorful, Kristi? knocks the hero off-kilter?
Julianne MacLean - Syna - Sleeping With the Playboy - the don't JUST sleep
syna - LOL
GlenArden - nekkid swimmin'
Marilyn_in_AL - i love skinny dipping too
Leanne Banks - Ann. what do you love about your current book?
syna - I'd never sleep
Peachez - good Idea Marilyn. I know I shop more from places that give an extra discount
Kristi Gold - You bet, Leanne. She's out there, totally herself and proud of it.
Lydia F - Marilyn I learn something new about you all the time.
Leanne Banks - Glen, that's how I spell nekkid., too!
Ann Major - I love reunited lover stories. My characters hurt each other in the past, dashed each others dreams. So when they get back together I love they way they yearn even though they don't yet see a way to fix what is broken. Maybe we all need to be a little shameless sometimes.
Peachez - That's one thing I have never done. Skinny dip
Cissy - okay, are we ready to give away some books?
GlenArden - Leanne
Kristi Gold - I really have to go now. I have a friend who's waiting for me to have dinner so we can plot. It's been so much fun! Thanks to everyone!!!
syna - yes,
OL - logged on. - from 64.12.96.201 on 6/10 at 9:21pm EST
Marilyn_in_AL - you know the difference between naked and nekkid? Naked means you have no clothes on. Nekkid means you have no clothes on and you're up to something.

syna - bye Kristi
Kristi Gold - And Ann, you do them well.
