Helena - ok time to lay down night all
Cissy - are you on through aol, Deb?
Oli - Hey i asked that question before
ChristineFeehan - I've been writing since I could string together sentences, I've always told stories but published in 99
KatBos - Night Helena.
Deb_Stover - I'm invisible.
BonnieJean Hamilton - @ Cissy - I noticed but I wasn't about to comment on it Cissy!
RobinDOwens - Thanks for coming Helena!
Cel - Night Helena
Marila - nite helena
Sabrina Moses - SabrinaJ, someone on a list one time mistaken me for you due to our names and we're both from the Carolinas, but I quickly confessed I wasn't you
Deb_Stover - No, Cissy.
Roxie48 - Night Helena
ChristineFeehan - nite Helena
Lea - awwww poor Deb, should we duck tape ya to the room
TriceCyn4 - Night Helena take care
SabrinaJef - As for what inspired me, I just wanted to tell my own stories. In fact, when I was 12 I remember thinking that one day when I grew up I was going to write down my romantic fantasies and sell them. Seriously.
Cissy - hmm... darn. That's what ususally does that.
TriceCyn4 - WB Rabbit
Cissy - glomagic has the next question (cajringo, Chessie, trishj, RobinDOwens, Oli, borzoiaddict, mary f, CCaro, Marila, Cel, KatBos in line)
Deb_Stover - I'm invisible, 'cuz I'm a Jove author, too.
glomagic - Which is harder to write, a shorter length piece or a novel?
koolkatz - sorry got booted...can you tell me where i am at in line
Cissy - We see you, Deb!
RobinDOwens - Hey, koolkatz,wb, you're changing colors
ChristineFeehan - very coll Sabrina! and I loved your fantasy for Waldens
SKYEQ - Deb you can NEVER be invisilbe!
Cissy - did you miss your turn, kookatz? I'll put you back
Marila - jump in deb
ChristineFeehan - for me, Glo it is far more difficult to write short.
ladybug - hey how do you recommend keeping character development paced. PS my husband is here also. We call him the bassmaster
Emma Holly - I see you, Deb! Glomagic, all I know is for this novella I took longer than I ever have to write 100 pages!
koolkatz - go ahead and put me at the end cissy...i can wait!! thanks tho
SabrinaJef - Thanks, Chris! Haven't gotten a chance to read them yet. I just rushed in from a teacher appreciation dinner.
CCaro - Kitkat, have you picked names out????
Cissy - cajringo has the next question (koolkatz, Chessie, trishj, RobinDOwens, Oli, borzoiaddict, mary f, CCaro, Marila, Cel, KatBos, ChristineFeehan in line)
KatBos - Well, shoot, Glo asked MY question!!!!!
Rabbitsdoe - I just want to say that FANTASY was great
ChristineFeehan - what about you Sabrina, more difficult long or short ?
koolkatz - thanks for noticing Robin..trying to keep everyone on thier toes lol
Marila - hey BM....maybe i should call my husband over...i think he'd enjoy this
kitkat - All I can say, basically I'm just observing chat, is that I enjoyed all four stories tremendously in Fantasy. I could see each storyline become one of a bigger series, particularly Christine's and Emma's. Though there might be a willing audience for more Widow's auctions, hmmm.....Sabrina.
SabrinaJef - glomagic, for some reason I really like writing novellas. I find them easier.
cajringo - My question is for Christine. By the Fantasy was a GREAT read and I enjoyed all of the stories. I was wondering if The Awakening might be the start of a series? Also a start of a series with Luisa"s Desire?
kitkat - Caro, Name is solid at Michael Thomas
ChristineFeehan - I'm so delighted you enjoyed it Rabbit!
Cissy - I'm sure you can think of another one, Kat!
CCaro - Oh!!!! I wanted to name my son Michael. Hubby wanted his name, though. Good choice, hon!
Cissy - Hi Carrie Welcome to our Berkley Jove chat! We're lucky to have several wonderful authors with us tonight, Christine Feehan, Sabrina Jeffries, Emma Holly... and perhaps we'll hvae a few more before the evening's over. We're chatting tonight about this month's April releases and we'll be working on protocol, so if you have questions for any of our authors, just type ? and I'll call on you in turn.
cajringo - I know Christine did NOT write Luisa's Desire but it would make a start of a great series.
RobinDOwens - Hi, Carrie!
SabrinaJef - Actually, I was wondering the same thing, Christina and Emma. I would love to read more upyr stories and cat people stories.
ladybug - Christine I truly enjoy your dark series and I'm eagerly awaiting the new release or you excited about it?
Ann K99 - Hi all
ChristineFeehan - in all honesty I don't know yet, if the inspiration comes to me it would fun doing a shapeshifter series we'll see, I've certainly had enough requests LOL
borzoiaddict - One of my sons is named Micheal patrick
Cissy - Emma might want to jump in on Luisa's Desire
ladybug - hi ann
RobinDOwens - Hi, Ann. I got many notes about where to send my wallet calendars for CR 2002
Lea - Hi Ann

Sabrina Moses - WB again Sabrina J ...fasten your seatbelt and hang on
Deb_Stover - Same thing is happening to me, Sabrina.

Deb_Stover - I should've known Trish was responsible.
mary f - LOL Christine!
SabrinaJef - That's a hard question. Hmm. I guess Judith McNaught, Linda Howard, and Amanda Quick?
Chessie - I'm a big fan of breaking cliches. For all of you, what are the romantic cliches that bother you the most, and which ones have you enjoyed twisting into something new?

We're lucky to have several wonderful authors with us tonight, Christine Feehan, Sabrina Jeffries, Emma Holly... and perhaps we'll hvae a few more before the evening's over. RobinDOwens - Hey, Sabrina, you're honorary....
trishj - Sabrina: I'm thrilled you're here. What a bonus!

CCaro - Oh YUMMY!!!!!!
KatBos - Sara, you could have discussed it with ME. LOL
CindyH - Hey SabrinaJ--nice titles! Like the sound of Until the Seduction.
borzoiaddict - Ok for all - how much research do you consider good and enough when you are setting up a new book or series to give the world proper depth
Sara - and each one different. I really like that, and Christine, darling, please do more shapeshifters
Sabrina Moses - April's just begun, Sara! It's not fair you getting to read all the April books ahead of time, you know?

trishj - Brat Kat. Your new nick.
ladybug - night trish the bassmaster
Carrie - LOL trish, Now no name calling children!
SabrinaJef - I do a lot of research all along, but more at the beginning. It helps, though, when you write in the same period for every book.
Cissy - Julie, weren't Victorians bawdy beneath the prudery?
BadBarbh - LOL, it wouldnt be chat night if I didnt shock Cissy
ChristineFeehan - I do like that Trish, suits her
KatBos - Hey, at least it rhymes. LOL
Cissy - wait, ignore my question - we don't have time for it!
borzoiaddict - Well that makes me feel better, we've run out of bookshelves my house
Emma Holly - Research books with pictures are the best!
KatBos - Cissy, I think there is truth to that question though!
SKY - .
SabrinaJef - I am ruthless with research books. If I haven't used it in a few years, I have to get rid of it. No room.
