TheBuzzy - Folks, I want to review your stuff. Susan S has more info on how to get reviews from me and who I am.
goldie - Does he have any control over his changing?
Yeep -

Virginia - Can we squeeze or something?
becca_rae - i want to see more romances developed into movies
ColleenShannon - Some control--but I'll give you one guess what will break the curse. The heroine has to be willing to die to save him. What can I say? I like high drama.

Janice - Colleen, do you have a web site?
Janice - LOL SusanC
BarbSheridan - those are the best stories Colleen!

SusanC - Susan What book do you have coming out?
SusanSize - Gates of Hell is a science fiction romance. No cure exists for Sagouran plague; the only treatment is an illegal drug called Rust. Pyr, captain of the pirate ship Raptor, is searching for a better solution, but he is dying of a slow poison. It would take a miracle for him to survive long enough to find a cure for the plague. The miracle is Roxanne, a medical officer in United Systems Military Service. Roxy is a one of a race of legendary telempathic healers. Sent on a mercy mission, she is captured by slavers. Her knowledge and abilities could halt the spread of the disease and save Pyr’s life, but only if he can persuade her to help him. In the end, pirate and physician risk betraying everything they believe in, for the sake of a bond deeper than they ever dreamed of.

Ssizemore - got knocked off again...but I'm persistent
Leslie - Sara, I thought that was a really wonderful, should bring another award, but sad for those who haven't gotten a copy.

Ssizemore - Jenna, Yeep, me...
bjd - Yep!!! The CHatroom wouldn't let me use either of my TWO Jayne nick names for some reason.
AnnK - how dreadful, bjd!!!!
Cissy - I think Jayne might already be set up as a nickname...
jk - FREE SPIRIT is about a dryad princess that is sold on the auction block and bought by an elfin prince

Ssizemore - hmmm...maybe swp could put together a vampire anthology
Leslie -
bjd - Were you talking about 6 more books? How about a sequel to Free Spirit
Yeep - You want to wrangle the writers for it, Susan? You did a great job with Stardates.
jk - I told Goldie I didnt know if this would be long enough to be a whole novel. Im on Chapter ten
Leslie - You know you have something there Susan. There is a PEARL award for paranormal anthologies but there are so few published
Ssizemore - we did the holidays in space anthology for DU, and that was fun
Leslie - Susan, and can you post it to the paranormal list as well. Sara stop sampling the sour grapes <grin>

Ssizemore - Yay!
goldie - I loved Ravens Heart Jennifer
SusanC - oh goodie I carry the Speculation Press line on my site!
bjd - What is Dark Salvation about?
Yeep - Dark Salvation is not quite a vampire story ... the hero is an immortal, cursed to cause the painful deaths of those he loves.
AnnK - I hope that more E-books will find a print publisher...eventually
lulu - OH, thank God! I've been looking for Ravens Heart forever !
jk - Hey is Spec Press onthe web? I couldn;tfind it
Leslie - Sounds great.
Leslie - Sounds great.
Virginia - *yeehaa* Yeep!
Ssizemore - It's a great book!
Yeep - But everyone who reviewed it called it a vampire story, so I usually call it that.
Ssizemore - http://speculationpress.com
Spammy Wammy - - 2/6 at 11:47pm EST
Janice - YEEP, you have a Web site?
Virginia - Yes, I'm glad to hear Raven's Heart is out in paper. My dh will kill me if I get yet another computer type thing!
Sara - oh, lord, another one from SWP. Why is that one so hard to find? I keep hitting an ISP <G> when I try to go there. <sigh>
Yeep - http://members.aol.com/yeep/
jk - thanks susan!
bjd - Thanks Susan - it sounds like a good source for paranormal titles
Yeep - And, for all of you who like science fiction romance, check out my newsletter, http://members.aol.com/sfreditor/
Yeep - SWP is at www.starpublications.com
Leslie - I should mention that the paranormalromance list is keeping an up to date list of 2000 releases for paranormal romances and romantic sf&f, so if you publish with a small print publisher or an e-publisher, please contact us so we can list your stories on our website.
Leslie - Sara, I had no trouble finding it.
Ssizemore - Speculation Press currently has 3 books. Mine, Tribute Trail which is a fantasy, and To Kill an Eidolon, which is a medical sf thriller

Yeep - The tentative title is "Sex Magic." I think that says it all.
Luisa - logged on. - 2/6 at 11:53pm EST
Janice - Then it will be the new and improved version, huh Cissy?
Leslie - Whoa, I guess it does.
lulu - Great title
AnnK - hmm...what a title, Jennifer
Cissy - Yep, it would Janice
Yeep - Compared to Raven's Heart, where the hero and heroine spend most of the book technically not having sex.
Ann L - Hmmm. Sex...Magic...works for me
SusanC - WHAT A TITLE!
jkf - shame on you Yeep!
Peter B - Sounds interesting ...

helenaB - logged on. - 2/6 at 11:56pm EST
lulu - I definitely got to get a Palm or Rocket soon!
Leslie - That's funny
Yeep - National Public Radio -- but the ad was for the local PBS station, not the national feed. (Don't I wish!)
Janice - It is a meeting for online readers and writers that takes place in Seattle in May.
Peter B - Yeep, try bigger zips !
Sara - Lulu, they (palms and rockets) are distinctly different.
Yeep - Come on, Susan, just because I blew up one tiny little data center....
SusanC - Jennifer did you give us your web site?
Cissy - Palms do what Rocket's do plus lots more. Right?
Ssizemore - You do good stuff, Yeep. And edit good too
Sara - Definitely, Cissy, I wouldn't buy a Rocket, not nearly versatile enough
AnnK - how about a bodice zapper?
Yeep - (Although I never could get that apostrophe in the right place.... it's a plural moons, right?)
jkf - well I gotta go too gang. It was nice seeing all of the familiar "faces", LOL Night all
Yeep - Sounds like a bug zapper... get a little too friendly and DZZZZT!
Cissy - plus I saw a review of the new ones on ZDtv last night and while they liked a lot about them, they weren't really sold on them
Yeep - Oh -- and I've got a story in the Stardates anthology.
SusanC - I think that was everyone
Sara - Bodice Zappers? that would be, well, interesting

Note from Susan Grant

"First of all I'd like to thank Susan Caraballo for setting up this gathering at Writerspace. She is so right, it's difficult for "newbie" paranormal writers to let readers know what they'll soon have on the shelves. For that reason, this is a wonderful idea, and I was so excited to be a part of it . . . until I did the math (not my strong point, you see) and calculated that I'd be thousands of miles from Sydney, Australia, at 35,000 feet over the dark and lonely South Pacific while you guys are happily chatting. Grrr. Have fun without me. . When I'm not flying 747s (I'm an airline pilot) I'm writing paranormals for Love Spell. I hope some of you have the chance to pick up my February debut, ONCE A PIRATE. My heroine, Carly, is a navy fighter pilot who's forced to bail out of her jet during a storm. She lands in the middle of a sea battle, where she's rescued by arrogant and deliciously sexy pirate Sir Andrew Spencer. One eensy, weensy problem, well, other than the complication of dropping into the wrong century: Andrew thinks SHE'S the booty in his well-planned (or so he thought) quest for revenge."

"I just got some great news! My October release, THE STAR KING, (a rollicking space adventure where an ex-fighter-pilot-now-suburban-mom meets the deposed heir to the galaxy, a hunky alien with an attitude -- and a heart of gold ) will be placed in the mainstream "Perfect Heroes" line. What's so exciting is that it's rare for a SF romance to be placed anywhere but futuristic. I fought hard for this. I see it as a huge step toward getting the books we love a bigger audience. I wanted to get the word out, so futuristic and SF fans will know what this book is, and will look for it, I hope, when it comes out next fall. If anyone has the time or inclination, stop by my website http://www.bigfoot.com/~susan-grant and read the first two chapters of The Star King. If you enjoy it, send me or my publisher http://www.dorchesterpub.com an e-mail. They NEED to know we want more books like this! I'll be at RT in Houston, doing a panel called "Romancing the Military." I look forward to meeting lots of paranormal fans there."
