Melissa's dream has come true with a job at an exclusive Connecticut horse farm that trains Grand Prix show jumpers. She is determined to succeed in this world where vast wealth is coupled with intense ambition.

A sizzling attraction springs to life between Melissa and David, a handsome, talented trainer, but her future is threatened when an attempted murder takes place at the farm. She must decide who she can trust and if her long-held dream is worth the risk of her life...

Mary Paine's Bio

Books and horses have been among Mary's great loves from an early age. As a child she would arrive at the local library with grocery bags to haul home all the books she wanted to read that week. She would then balance her time between reading and hanging out at the local barn with her similarly horse-crazy friends. Thus, it was only natural that she chose the world of Grand Prix show jumping as the setting for her first book, a romantic mystery novel. Two years later, she is delighted to have published A Dangerous Dream and is enthusiastically working on her second novel, a paranormal romance about a beautiful witch who is being hunted by a murderer and must decide if she will be honest about her legacy with the man determined to help her.

After obtaining a bachelor's degree in nursing from Georgetown University and a master's degree in epidemiology from Yale, Mary held positions in public health and medical communications. Her career has spanned work in research, medical writing, and management and in her spare time riding horses, and of course, reading romance.

Mary lives outside St Louis with her husband and three children, a five year old daughter and one year old twin sons. It's a wild and crazy household full of love, laughter and plenty of material for stories!
