Soundtrack for PAGES OF PASSION
I love to write to music. It helps me to get into the rhythm and mood of a story. Sometimes I create a soundtrack. For the first time I’ll share one with you. PAGES OF PASSION is my latest release (October 26, 2010) about Noreen Webster, a cynical romance writer who meets a real life hero (Michael Vaughn) while on a cruise. To develop the soundtrack for this book I used Aretha Franklin’s greatest hits.
Here are five songs that make up the soundtrack:
(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman—Noreen’s Song. She sings this in a karaoke contest.
You’re All I Need to Get By— Michael’s song. Used soon after he meets Noreen.
I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)—Arlene’s theme. She’s Noreen’s sister and in love with a man who will break her heart.
Until You Come Back to Me—Joy’s theme. She’s in love with Michael and a romantic rival of Noreen’s.
Baby I love You—the theme for Noreen and Michael.

Great choices. I have always liked music, most all kinds. Aretha Franklin is a great artist, there is nobody like her. I've always liked You're All I Need To Get By. I will look forward to reading your book, and hearing her music in my head.
