Rebecca Campbell Barrett

Rebecca Barrett started her story telling career at a very young age in an effort to entertain her brothers and keep them from underfoot as her mother and grandmother went about the endless duties of farm life. She has been writing for thirty plus years and has been supporting writers and the craft of writing through her involvement in such events as the Eugene Walter Writers’ Festival and as a founding member of the Deep South Writers’ Salon. Growing up in the deep South has provided her with a rich roux to draw from as a writer. In addition to women’s mainstream fiction, she writes historicals, children’s stories, the occasional short story and is currently trying her hand at a mystery. She has also written apocalyptic fiction (The Blessing of Hannah) under the name Campbell O’Neal.
